About this assignment

We are looking for a responsible person for occasional weekends to cat sit when I am away. We are a relaxed family who care more for adventure and experiences, and our house reflects that. It is very modest.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Taking care of 2 cats.
One cat is super snuggly and easy to care for. She can go outside, but we never leave her out. The other cat is less snuggly and more of a roamer. I don't like him to be out all night long.

What are the good features of the property and location

We have incredible hiking trails near by- Thetis Lake, Goldstream Park. We are 20 mins by car to downtown Victoria. Our modest duplex has a good sized, relatively private yard in a quiet cul de sac. All stores can be found within 1.5 kms, and the main bus route is 3 blocks away. I have a garden and we compost and recycle. There will be pet hair. They shed. The spare bedroom has a single captain's bed, with good afternoon light.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We are on a septic system and don't use harsh cleaning chemicals.
The duplex house is on a cul de sac, quite quiet for town living

Can I bring my own pets?
