2 cats, Langford (Victoria BC), flexible date range

About this assignment

We are looking for a responsible person (or couple?) for cat care. These dates are a little flexible, would mean staying while we are still home, if needed. We are a relaxed family who care more for adventure and experiences, and our house reflects that. It is very modest. If you are interested, we can discuss more.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Taking care of 2 cats. Wet food feeding in the morning.
One cat is super snuggly and loves laps. She can go outside, but we never leave her out. The other cat is less snuggly and more of a roamer. I don't like him to be out all night long.

What are the good features of the property and location

We have incredible hiking trails near by- Thetis Lake, Goldstream Park. We are 20 mins by car to downtown Victoria. Our modest duplex has a good sized, relatively private yard in a quiet cul de sac. All stores can be found within 1.5 kms, and the main bus route is 3 blocks away. I have a garden and we compost and recycle. The spare bedroom has a single captain's bed, with good afternoon light. Potential to use my daughter's room (queen sized bed) .

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We are on a septic system and don't use harsh cleaning chemicals.
The duplex house is on a cul de sac, quite quiet for town living

Can I bring my own pets?
