Nice house sit

A lovely couple to sit for very hospitable and friendly, great apartment to stay in, Skip the dog was a dream to look after loves his walks and playing with a ball, Sissy the cat was easy as once she’s had her dinner she goes off partying for the night returning for breakfast and then sleeps it off all day.

Lovely House-Sit with Bev, Marc, Skip and Sissy: A Gem on Granada's Coast

I'm writing this review a couple of months after the sit finished. At this point, we're over the honeymoon and ecstasy mood Skip pushed us to with her energy and love, and we are seeing things from a more objective point of view. Bev and Marc are friendly, welcoming, empathetic, intelligent, and fun, and spending time with them was an absolute pleasure! Upon arrival, they took the time to proactively explain everything we needed to know in a simple and clear way and were always available over the phone for any questions we had. They made house-sitting for them and caring for Skip and Sissy really easy. Skip and Sissy are friendly, well-behaved, easy-going and very, VERY lovable. Skip is very energetic and loves to have walks and to play with the ball; she's astute and will always find a way to persuade you to play with her (without being pushy). Sissy is mostly on her own, but she loves to be cuddled; she also made sure to join us for most of our evening walks. They're both super good! The property is a lovely Cortijo in the countryside near the coast of Granada. Bev and Marc are highly skilled at home renovations and have converted an old Cortijo into two lovely homes connected by an outdoor space full of life with many plants, sofas, tables, and a modern barbecue. The Cortijo is just a few minutes away from a lovely and uncrowded beach with a nice sea walk and supermarkets, and a few km further on the way to Malaga there is a bigger town with everything you might need. We feel very fortunate to have come across Bev and Marc and their lovely companions, Skip and Sissy.
