About this assignment

Versatile mature couples to look after animals and a larger 4 bed farmhouse and cottage which have been refurbished with all modern facilities and a few more.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

3 dogs 10 chickens 3 ducks
15mins in the morning and night to feed and bed down the foul etc along with the normal dog resposibilities
The dogs are all insured and well known to the local vets whom are 4miles away

What are the good features of the property and location

We live only 10 miles from Newcastle city centre yet we have a rural setting in Northumberland with lots of tourist attractions
We have a small holding with 7 acres for walking the dogs with many other local walks of varying distances

Otherwise shops pubs restaurants are 4 mile away at Ponteland

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We need sitters to arrive late afternoon 10/6/24 as we leave 08.00hrs on the 11/06
We get back 11.00hrs on the 18/06/24
The 3 dogs are very easy to handle and have their own room with an outside and inner door for when they are wet muddy and where they sleep at night but otherwise they are house dogs.
The dogs can be left for several hours and are comfortable in their room
