About this assignment

Some-one dependable, who would enjoy spending time in the French countryside. There are no animals to care for but the garden may need occasional watering. We would appreciate a lift to the station which is 20 minutes away.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Water my garden, empty the post box, assist with any problems that arise (unlikely!), keep the robot mower on track. You will not need to be at the property all day, you can be free to explore and enjoy the villages and towns in the area.

What are the good features of the property and location

Two bedroom gîte on the property with fireplace. Lovely sunny terrace with a stunning view, secluded and private, pretty garden. Additional undercover terrace. High speed internet, well equipped kitchen.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

They will need their own car as the home is in the middle of the countryside. The nearest village (with a few shops) is 4kms. The nearest towns are 12kms (Thiviers) and 18kms (Saint Yrieix la Perche.
