About this assignment
Trustworthy and reliable.
Able to look after a 2 bed, 2 bathroom apartment and of course our cat Nimo.
Take Nimo for a walk around the complex - apologies he will take you. (At this moment in time, Nimo got frightened the last time we went out and won't go outside the front door)
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Look after the apartment as if it was your own and look after Nimo, who is very easy. Nimo is now a 'house cat'. Hopefully by January 2027, Nimo will want to go for walks again
What are the good features of the property and location
Mojacar is often featured on all of the 'holiday, property' programmes.
Our apartment has a sea view. It has a well equipped kitchen including a Ninja air fryer.The local bus service is very good and cheap. There is a golf course 400m from the apartment. There is an indoor swimming pool in the complex which will be open
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
The weather during the day in Mojacar, in January, is normally fairly good. It can be sunny and warm during the day but colder in the nights. We have a gas fire that solves this problem.
We have good internet speed and a Firestick with all the English channels, films, series etc. It also has lots of European channels
Can I bring my own pets?

We had the pleasure of looking after Nemo for two weeks in February while the lovely Theresa and Allan were following their rugby and golf passions. Nimo is a real sweet boy, very easy to look after and strike up a relationship with. He loves his walks and let's you know what he wants. Theresa and Allen were extremely warm in their welcome and thorough and precise with their instructions. Always available to answer any queries we had. We enjoyed a lovely evening out with them before they left. I would encourage anyone to take a sit with them.

Lovely couple and the sweetest cat ever!
I had a wonderful time in Mojacar with Nemo. Seriously he is the sweetest cat ever! He is very calm and friendly. Loves to cuddle, and walking him around the beautiful apartment complex was a joyful experience. :) Allan and Theresa were very kind, I arrived a few days earlier and they showed me the area of Mojacar, and introduced me to their neighbors. I would be happy to take care of Nemo anytime.

Mojacar Playa, Spain and cat Nimo
We have just spent a very enjoyable 10 days in Mojacar Playa looking after Nimo, a delightful cat, and an apartment on a complex with a communal pool. Allan & Theresa were a very friendly couple and gave us a warm welcome on our arrival. They showed us around the complex and where to walk Nimo. Then they kindly drove us from Garrucha at one end of Mojacar Playa to the other, also taking us to Mojacar Pueblo, a stunning white old town, pointing out good restaurants on our way together with locations of supermarkets and shops etc., we really appreciated this as it helped us find our bearings quickly. The complex had space for underground car parking which helped to keep the car cool. They took us to a tapas bar called Samsara, where we had a meal together in the evening, we ate here again later in our stay, with good sized Gin and tonics! Another restaurant they recommended was called Bellavista where we ate 5 times!, it was absolutely excellent, 3 courses for Euro 18 each, the food was delicious and the service excellent and very clean with beautiful decor, but best to book as they get full being very busy at lunch or dinner. The apartment was very clean and spacious, well equipped and had a beautiful balcony which overlooked the sea. Nimo was an absolute joy to look after, such a beautiful lovable cat whom we took for an evening walk, yes, that's right, on a lead and harness, everyday, he enjoyed these walks around the complex, he's in charge and he leads the way to his favourite routes. We kept in regular contact with Allan & Theresa throughout our stay on Whatsapp, they were always on hand if we needed any help. We had a really great time and wanted to bring Nimo home with us. Definitely recommend this apartment sitting assignment with an adorable cat. Thank you Allan & Theresa for choosing us.

Had a wonderful time house-sitting for Allan and Teresa. Nemo is no problem to look after. He enjoys his nighttime walks. Allan and Theresa are organised and communicative. Their home is clean and tidy and well situated to visit the beautiful Mojacar Pueblo and surrounding areas, with some interesting nearby markets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Delightful place/Lovely people
We spent over 2 weeks in Mojacar looking after adorable puss Nimo. Our hosts, Allan and Theresa were helpful, efficient and friendly throughout and went out of their way to ensure we had extra information to enhance our stay. The apartment was spacious and immaculate with superb views and very well located for transport, restaurants, the beach etc. We had a really lovely stay and hope one day to return if required.

Lovely Cat/house sit
Had a lovely 12 days looking after Nimo in Mojacar Playa for Allan and Theresa who are a friendly couple and made me feel very welcome in their apartment. Nimo is a lovely, sociable cat who would sit on the sofa or sunny balcony with me. Am really missing him! The hosts are organised and provided everything I needed to care for Nimo and their apartment which is situated in a safe and secure complex which has a very nice indoor pool. The beach is just 10 minutes walk away. If you don't have a car, there are bus stops next to the beach which will get you to the main shopping areas. I was very comfortable staying at their place and would highly recommend this assignment.

Gorgeous cat Nimo
Had a lovely week hanging out with Nimo in Playa de Mojacar. We both enjoyed the winter sun on the balcony. Allan and Teresa are friendly, hospitable and welcoming. Recommend this house sit.

Maravilloso apartamento con un gato encantador
Allan y Theresa son una pareja fantástica y su gato Nemo es adorable ,cariñoso,bueno y muy tranquilo.el apartamento situado en mojacar es fantástico totalmente equipado con unas vistas al mar fantásticas. Allan me dio desde el principio todas las instrucciones necesarias y el apartamento está completamente equipado.ademas tiene una gran piscina en la urbanización que en verano se agradece mucho. Una maravillosa experiencia a la que Nemo le dio su toque de magia con su amor y su cariño que espero poder repetir algún día.Estuvimos en contacto durante su viaje y Allan me dio todas las instrucciones para solucionar alguna duda puntual. Gorgeous cat, amazing house sit.
I absolutely loved every minute of my 3 week cat sit for Nemo and his owners. Nemo was the most gorgeous cuddly cat ever and I really missed him when I left. And Allan and Theresa are great home owners. I liked them so much I'd have been happy if they had stayed at home too! All in all, I can't recommend Nemo or his owners highly enough and I felt extraordinarily lucky to have got such a wonderful house-sit. I'd drop everything to do it again!

A great apartment sit with the best cat company!
We experienced lots of hospitality from Allan and Theresa. They are very welcoming and friendly. We are grateful for dinner and gift. The apartment is modern, comfortable with a beautiful view of the sea. But the superbonus was the gorgeous inhabitant, cat Max. We can say that on this assignment we fell in love with the cat. All in all we had a great time and would recommend this housesit to anyone!

A really great home and pet sitting experience.
Allan and Theresa asked me to home and pet sit for them for three and a half weeks. They are a very friendly couple and their cat, Max, is also friendly and easy to look after. Their apartment is clean, modern and spacious - well located for the beach and food shopping - it also boasts amazing sea views from the large south facing terrace. The hosts are very well organised and provided everything I needed to take care of Max and the apartment. I was very comfortable there and enjoyed every minute.
