I'm looking for a responsible, respectful, conscientious, clean, quiet, environmentally conscious, cat-loving individual to stay in my home and look after my 2 sweet indoor kitties.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Kitty sitting requirements include feeding them twice a day, scooping their litter boxes 2x/day, and petting/belly rubs as often as they'll let you. :) House sitting responsibilities include keeping the townhome clean and tidy, bringing the mail in, and looking after the place. I will provide sitter with detailed info and instructions.

What are the good features of the property and location

I live in a lovely 2 BR / 2.5 BA townhome on beautiful Hilton Head Island. It's a short drive to multiple beaches, grocery stores, restaurants, movie theaters, cafes and shopping. Out back is a lagoon with lots of trees, which provides privacy and ample bird, turtle and alligator watching. There is also a patio out back.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

While I love animals, this opportunity is not for individuals traveling with any pet(s) of their own. The lagoon is home to a variety of animal life, including 1-2 alligators. They will not bother you, if you don't bother them, so nothing to be afraid of, only to be aware of. This is a two-floor townhome, so the ability to climb stairs is necessary as both bedrooms and full bathrooms are upstairs, and there are some steps to get in and steps down into the living area. This is an environmentally conscious household, so I ask that people who stay here and care for my pets limit waste by recycling, be conscientious of temperature and AC/heat use.
