About this assignment

I am having tests in a hospital from 7th September, for 4 days at least. I’m looking for somebody to mind the dog, feeding and walking.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

I need someone to be with the dog, walking and feeding him. He is a very aimable, low maintenance, and generally obedient dog.

What are the good features of the property and location

I live in a wonderfully friendly village, with a bar. The village is in the middle of beautiful countryside. The Pyrenees are easily accessible for day trips. There are accessible, interesting historical villages and towns. Three local markets within 15-17km.
My nearest town with train station, bus etc, is 20km, the nearest supermarket 6km.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

My house has all mod cons, but is not posh! There is no central heating. The house is clean and reasonably tidy, but not pristine. The dog is never allowed upstairs. There are three double bedrooms, lounge, study, kitchen diner, a pleasant garden, with sun and shade, good WiFi, computer, telephone, with free calls to the U.K.. I can supply references.

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: Not cats as my dog would want to chase them
