Want a break from the flatmates over Christmas, or travelling to London and need a place to stay? Please message me ASAP. Reliable but flexible, respecting of my home and loving to my cat, Ninevah. Incidentally, I'd rather have ONE sitter, so as not to stress Ninevah out. Afraid I can't have your own pet in the house. You should also have Skype/WhatsApp so I can keep in visual touch. Thanks!
My gorgeous cat needs someone to look after her while I'm in South London. Ninevah needs food supplement liquid twice a day and she loves the stuff. Otherwise, just feeding and litter-changing; Ninevah is an indoor cat. Oh, also important: maintain the insect netting, please!
Chiswick is a very desirable West London location, with many restaurants and bars on the High Street and independent shops etc on the Terrace. The 94 bus (5 mins walk from me) runs to Piccadilly Circus, via Notting Hill, Marble Arch, Oxford Circus and the Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherds Bush. Turnham Green tube is on the District Line and reaches Victoria in 20 mins. Three supermarkets are on the high street, many excellent charity shops and fruit and veg stalls and a couple of antique shops. Chiswick is close to the river, with great walks there and in the woody Chiswick House grounds. There's a food market on Sundays at Duke's Meadow, right by the river. You might spot Colin Firth, David Tennant, Hilary Benn, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Downtron Abbey stars, etc around the neighbourhood.
Chiswick's notable for the Arts Ed performers' school and the many showbiz-types including Colin Firth, Ant and Dec, Trevor Nunn, David Tennant, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, etc. I'm also rather proud of the fact that we had a poltergeist down my road in the 1950s...
My flat is on three floors in a Victorian house. I have WIFI, TVs with Nexflix, Now and Amazon Prime, washing machine, microwave, Halogen oven and fun decor - vintage pieces mixed with Ikea and quirky bits of rather inept DIY ('Boho Romantic' apparently!) It's not fancy but it is interesting. Nini has her own bathroom and beds all over the flat. There are only two other flats in the building.
Stairs! I'm on the top three floors, so you need to be OK with stairs. The flat is an old Victorian conversion. Ninevah will be shy at first and then very affectionate once she's used to you. She has bowls of water in the bedroom and the kitchen and her own little table in the kitchen and her own bathroom opposite the bedroom.
The flat is quirky and vintage-y, suffers a bit from my woeful DIY attempts.
No, sorry.
