About this assignment

Person(s) to feed two dogs and cat twice daily. Ability to enjoy the beauty of nature a plus. Moderate fluency in Spanish helps, not for our pets, but for forays into San Ramón and surrounding areas.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed two dogs and a cat. Occasionally water house plants. Listen to and enjoying the sights and sounds of Costa Rican wildlife -- toucans, oropendulas and other avian species.

What are the good features of the property and location

The view is awesome (clouds permitting), great for hiking and the fridge is full of beer. Internet via Starlink. San Ramón, the city of poets and presidents, is a quick drive. Beaches, volcanoes, national parks and San Jose are possible day trips. Artist's studio is available if you like to draw or paint. Vehicle (2021 Honda CR-V) is available for licensed drivers.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It is a short time stay. We are a non-smoking facility. We are located at roughly 4,700 feet, so ability to withstand relative altitude is necessary.
