I have a young Japanese Chin dog.
I am looking for someone who loves small dogs and is very responsible, reliable, quiet anf kind. My dog Haku is a sweet, easy and charming companion.
The house sitter will be responsible for caring for my six pound Japanese Chin. I have a fenced yard so the house sitter would be responsible letting him in and out regularly and taking him for one approximately half hour walk per day in a safe and pretty neighborhood. He eats twice and is fine being left alone for half a day.
My property is located in the village of Westhampton Beach, Long Island, NY. I live two miles away from a beautiful beach on the Atlantic Ocean in "The Hamptons". My home is a mile away from the train station and a mile away from the village for grocery shopping etc. It is very walkable in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. I have a bike to borrow and may be able to leave my car for you to use.
I am an Airbnb Superhost and have many extremely positive reviews on that platform. In a separate part of the house there are two tenants. They don't have access to the main house and house/pet sitters will have interaction with them.
The house is cozy with cool retro decor with the bedroom upstairs. The only bathroom is downstairs.Excellent hi speed wi-fi. Apple TV plus other streaming channels on large screen tv in bed room. ChromeCast in living room.
Sitters will need to have testimonials here. Please be prepared to meet via video chat.
No, sorry.

Beautiful home- amazing doggies
So much fun staying at Patricia’s home. Her little pups were the sweetest little things. What a location! Can’t say enough about how easy and comfortable she made it for us. What a wonderful experience.

Great month in the Hamptons with 2 sweet doggies!
I spent about a month with Pattie's 2 sweet little dogs in their very cute original home in Westhampton Beach in Spring 2019. Pattie is a very kind, warmhearted hostess, and the doggies Nami and DJ are absolutely sweet. Her travel arrangements changed while I was on my way to her home, so we spent about a week together before she left, and I got to know her a bit. She took me along to some local events on Long Island, I loved that, and I met some of her friends. Learned so much about the locals that you would not find in any tourist guides! She has a fenced yard in the back and also a front yard, the neighbourhood has many old trees and is very quiet, totally safe. Not much traffic there, which made it quiet. The water front (bay) is only a mile away, just down her street, and I enjoyed the short walk to the southern shore bay several times per week, mostly to hear the sound of the waves and to snap great pictures of spectacular sunsets. The actual beach is a few miles further away, and I have been there as well, but less often, as it was too far for me to walk. There is a good supermarket in walking distance from the house, there are cafes and a library and all sorts of small town businesses, everything about half a mile away. I was very comfortable in Pattie's guest room and I would love to return any time Nami and DJ need a nanny again! There is also an elderly cat community in Westhamption Beach, they have been neutered and released years ago and are now living in the neighbourbood. Pattie has two cat houses in her front yard for them (where Nami and DJ can't get), and they came for dinner every afternoon. I loved feeding them, most of them were enjoying my company. There are several households in this village doing that, so the old cats go from house to house and eat where they like it. All in all, if you want to spend some time in the original Hamptons, this is the place! Doggies were easy to care for and supersweet, old cats outside were friendly, guest room is bright, clean, cheery and pretty big, and if you come in by car, there is ample parking space on Pattie's half circle drive way.
