About this assignment
A person with lots of patience and love for cats. Someone tidy that will take care of my home and respect the fact that utilities are not cheap anymore so to be careful of not wasting electricity and water as we are on a meter. Someone that's likes pottering in a garden. Above all though someone that adores cats
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Caring for Daisy is the main concern as she is a rescue cat and insecure
Bit of gardening maybe like cutting the lawn and weeding
What are the good features of the property and location
Single level bungalow, close to lovely walks and only 15 mins walk to Brecon town but also on a bus route, very peaceful location
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
To be kind, considerate and caring of my property and Daisy and respect my neighbours. To take care of my home as if its their own
Can I bring my own pets?

Pleasant, relaxing house sit
From the moment we arrived Shealagh and Paul made us feel very welcome. We only managed a few hours together but they explained everything to us and left clear instructions and information. Their cats were very loving and friendly and a delight to have around. The chickens were easy to look after and everything needed was supplied. Fresh eggs every day were a bonus. The house was very cosy with a lovely log fire (our hosts were happy for us to use their wood, unlike some experiences we have had in the past) and lovely views across the countryside. There was a nice terrace to sit out on both at the back and the front of the house. The area is very quiet and restful. There are 3 large supermarkets in the village (5 minutes drive) and Auxerre is only a 25 minute drive away and well worth a visit for sightseeing. We hope to be able to go back to house sit for them again (current chaos - coronavirus permitting). A nice, comfortable and relaxed house-sit. We would certainly recommend this sit to any future applicants.
