About this assignment
Hi I’m looking for house sitter to look after our 2 dogs and 2 cats. We live in a large house split into 3 apartments two are rented full time. We live in the 3rd on the first floor there are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and gas central heating. You will need to be non smokers, Please contact me if you are interested Thanks.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Your responsibility’s will be to look after our cats Tormy and Charlie they are normal cats though Charlie has only 3 legs. He does not require any special treatment. You will need to feed them and be their friend for evening strokes.
Our dogs are Meg 9 and Arty 4 are medium size non shedding they need walks and are very socialized.
What are the good features of the property and location
Our home is large with 4 bedrooms so is ideal for a family. We live just outside a small french village there are a lot of things to do in this area of France. Our views down the valley are spectacular. We have a great little community in our hamlet and the walking/hiking around here is fantastic.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
You must be non smokers, We would like you to stay with us for a day before so we are confident you understand the requirements of the sit. A lovely sit
I had a lovely time at Kate and Miles' house! It's surrounded by great mountains, and I did a lot of beautiful hikes. Kate and Miles welcomed me very warmly and were very kind. Tormy is such a sweet cat! I immediately fell in love with him. In the evenings, he always lay on my lap to cuddle, and when I worked in the garden, he followed me everywhere. I miss him already! Great sit, thank you very much! :)

A very pleasurable house & pet sit.
Comfortable house, relaxed people, a lovely dog and a 'normal' cat that just does his own thing.....and amazing views from the property. What's not to like? We really enjoyed our 2 weeks looking after Meg the mutt. Lovely little dog.

Welcoming family in beautiful French Alps
Kate, Miles and the family were wonderful - very welcoming and accommodating. We felt at home immediately during our sit in 2014. The alpine scenery was amazing. The neighborhood cows could be heard clanging their bells. The house is in a great location to visit sights from Annecy to Chamonix. We often went to a delightful bakery in Cluses. On Sunday mornings we enjoyed visiting the cheese lady and listening to the Alphorn player in the village.

House sitting in Mont Saxonnex
An absolutely delightful house sit which we undertook in 2012. The family were charming, the walks and area around amazing and the animals easy to look after. Would definetly return again but sadly husbands health at the moment will not allow this.
