Looking for a cat and house sitter

About this assignment

I am looking for the service of a reliable cat-loving house sitter for 2,5 weeks in June/July and non smoker during my holidays. It's not possible to bring your own pets. My house is a typical algarvian one-bedroom house, clean and ready for your tender loving care.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding the cats in the morning between 7 and 8 am and in the evening between 6 and 8 pm with wet food. Change the water and cleaning the litterbox if necessary. During summer, normaly they don't use the litterbox. There are 2 catflaps, one on the front door and one in the door to the backyard. One cat needs some meds which you only need to mix under the food. They need a lot of cuddles, especially Momo. If he don't get enough attention he will pee somewhere in the house and he needs to get his food on the kitchen counter. If he finished you can put the bowl on the floor. Felix in the moment only want to eat under the bed, but this can change in the next weeks. Felix is 18 and Momo 14 years old. Every second day the plants on the roofterrasse and the little backyard needs to get water with the hose. The plants inside the house only once per week.

What are the good features of the property and location

My little place (one-bedroom) with livingroom and kitchen about 60 sqm and 50 sqm roofterrace with sea view is situated in the center of a little village in the Algarve between Portimão and Lagos. The busstop is in 3 minutes walking distance to Portimão/Lagos. In 15 minutes walking distance is the train station from where you reach the beach of Meia Praia in 3 minutes. I have a fast WiFi internet connection. Everything is in walking distance, cafes, small supermarket, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, postoffice, restaurants, church and a public indoor pool. There are also some hiking trails.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You should arrive 1-2 days before I leave, that I can show you everything. I don't have a TV. If you want to watch TV, you should bring your own laptop or tablet. Anything else we should comunicate by email.
