A wonderful stay with Yoshi and a very thoughtful host

I had a wonderful time looking after Yoshi and Cheryl’s home. From the very beginning, communication with Cheryl was warm, friendly and clear, and I genuinely felt welcome in her home. Cheryl had put together a very helpful folder with everything I might need during the sit, including important information and contact details for local services such as a plumber and vet. She had also collected information about places to visit nearby, walking routes and local takeaway menus, which was such a thoughtful touch and made settling into the area really easy. Before leaving, Cheryl took the time to go through everything with me, including the house, Yoshi’s routine and feeding, so I knew exactly what I needed to do and where to find information if I needed it. Yoshi was an absolute pleasure to look after and wonderful company during my stay. I felt completely at home and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I would very happily return to look after Yoshi and the house again in the future. Thank you, Cheryl, for being such a welcoming and thoughtful host!

Beautiful Yoshi - the Gentle Giant 🤩

Cheryl was very organized and her home was very clean and tidy - always something that we experienced house-sitters will appreciate. She left me a binder of local walks and information, and whilst away, she kept in contact through WhatsApp. Yoshi, her lovely MaineCoon, was a sweet boy, who loved to come and go through his catflap (but of course, if YOU would open the door for him every now and again, Yoshi wouldn’t mind that either ; ) 😊 And once Yoshi completed his outdoor explorations, he’d curl up on a chair in the conservatory and nap the afternoon away. He loved to be stroked (his little front paws clenching in happiness with each hand stroke on his tummy). Yoshi was a great companion and easy to fall in love with. I hope to be coming back year after year to spoil Yoshi ; ) !!

Ulceby Stay

What a lovely stay we had in Ulceby! Cheryl left us a binder full of information for her home and kitty along with so many sites to see all around. We walked, bused and trained to the surrounding areas! Everyday a new treat. Cheryl's home was perfect with a lovely garden and Yosie her kitty was as independent as they come. All in all it was an enjoyable stay!

Great time with Yoshi in Ulceby

I had a very pleasant time in Cheryl’s house. I was there two times. The house is very nice with a lovely conservatory and a beautiful private garden. Ulceby is a village but there is a train station and a bus stop nearby. Easy access for instance to Cleethorpes, Barton-upon-Humber and Lincoln by train. The co-op supermarket and post-office is close. It is a nice area for walking and cycling. Yoshi is a super sweet cat. It is a beauty. He is funny, loves cuddles, he has a cat flap but loves it when you open the door for him. He is easy to look after. Cheryl was very helpful and gave a lot of information (house-instructions and information on walks, surroundings etc.) before I came and before my stay so I felt very relaxed. Many thanks to Cheryl for her hospitality.
