We need a house sitter to take care of our beautiful mountain home while we travel -- from November 24, 2024 to December 7, 2024. Our home is an A-frame, 1760 square feet, in a rural area surrounded by trees. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a big deck, a hot tub, a 1/2 acre fenced yard, a wi-fi network, and a flat screen TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime but no cable.
There are 2 super-cute affectionate dogs, both about 32 pounds. One of them is older, has only 3 legs and would love to go for walks, but really she can't. The other is very athletic and she can go anywhere and is a joy to watch run.
The house is at 7,000 feet, so it's much cooler than surrounding areas. We're 25 miles from Albuquerque and 45 from Santa Fe. There is no public transportation in the area. We are adjacent to great hiking trails.
The house sitter must not smoke or allow others to smoke in the house or yard.
To maintain the house and take care of our two super-cute 32-pound dogs. They are housetrained and have a doggie door which leads to a spacious fenced-in yard.

The house sitter must not smoke nor allow others to smoke in the house or yard. There is much to see in this area and is perfectly fine for you to be out all day so you can explore.
No, sorry.

Aloha Potential Home Sitters, If you are considering this home sit, Nike Baby.....Just Do It! It was a real pleasure to care for Rick & Phyllis's beautiful home and their dogs Sweet Pea and Gracie. Rick & Phyllis left excellent home and dog care instructions. Their home is beautiful and located in the Sandia Mountains, with perfect weather for July/Aug. They communicated well during the home sit. The dogs easy keepers, with friendly loving personalities. There is a doggie door so they can come and in and out as they need. They both are well trained, responding to voice commands and leash walking. When off leash only in community dog park and on hiking trails, they return promptly with vocal commands. Sweet Pea loves to retrieve her ball when thrown. Gracie, has three legs, so does not go on long walks, but does play in yard. There are several bird feeding stations that require daily maintenance. Humming birds and other classes of birds frequent the feeders. We recorded over 30 different species while sitting on their deck. The neighborhood is a dead end loop road with no through traffic, so is quite and peaceful. House is surrounded by Juniper, Pinyon and Ponderosa Pine trees. There is good WiFi speed. Cedar Crest has small shopping center with groceries and restaurants. Albuquerque is 20 minutes to west edge and 30 minutes to old town area. Meg & I Fully recommend and encourage home sitting for Rick & Phyllis, Sweet Pea & Gracie. Happy Trails to You, Patrick & Meg
