Home/Cat sitter in Central Florida (flexible dates)

About this assignment

FLEXIBLE STAY TIME! I will be away for a month or more, but I am open for someone to come for 2 weeks (at least) or possibly more if desired. I am looking for someone who is available to come and stay with Sophie and Maizey while I am away. This would be an ideal sit for a person who enjoys little getaways, perhaps likes cycling or hiking the local trails. The cats are fed twice per day and require a little bit of play time in the morning and a little lap time in the evening. They are very sweet cats.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Most responsibilities are just spending time and caring for Sophie and Maizey and of course keeping things neat in the home. I am good with a sitter who wants to go out and explore, bike or walk the trails, enjoy the pool. It is important that the sitter stay overnight in my home.

What are the good features of the property and location

Inverness Florida is a very pretty and quaint small town in central Florida. The home is an HOA property that sits next to the Withlacoochee State Trail, one of the longest paved rail-trails in Florida at 46 miles long, which is popular for cyclists. It is a one mile walking distance on the trail to downtown Inverness or to the "Train Station" or "Depot", where outdoor markets are held every first and third Saturday of the month. There is also a pretty park there on Henderson Lake with a lovely boardwalk.

Inverness is not a beach town, but it is about 20 miles to Fort Island Beach. We are centrally located, equally an hour and 15 minutes from Tampa to the south as well as from Orlando to the southeast.

The best thing about my property is my neighbors! It is one of the friendliest places I have ever lived, not to mention one of the safest.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I will have to be away for at least a month, but I am willing to have someone come and stay at least for 2 weeks but possibly more. I can be flexible about the dates between July 6th thru August 12th.

Can I bring my own pets?
