I'm looking for a non smoking cat lover who would like to live in my flat while I'm away for about three weeks and who will look after my lovely cat Mimi during my holiday.
The house sitter will have to feed the cat, play with her, give her cuddles, keep her company and clean the litter (no need to change the litter though). As Mimi is 17 she might need some care, even though she is fine now (just needs to lose some weight).
My flat is a comfortable one bedroom flat with a balcony. There is cable TV and wi-fi. It is in a quiet suburb north of Copenhagen and very close to public transport and several green areas. It takes less than 30 min. to reach the heart of Copenhagen by public transport or bicycle.
I'm planning to be away for three weeks end of July-start of August. I would like the cat sitter to arrive the day before I leave so there is time for an introduction to the flat and Mimi’s routines.
No, sorry.

Lovely cat sitting experience
It was a real pleasure to look after Bella and Minimousse during Easter holidays. Both are sweet cats although they have different caracters, Mimi being sociable and enjoying company while Bella was a bit suspicious the first days, but then she also became affectionate at times. You also have to watch that Mimi doesn't eat too much and Bella eats enough. She has her own ritm and asks when she has appetite. Annick is a kind and attentive owner so I was well prepared. Besides the flat is comfortable and clean and easy to maintain. I appreciated the quietness while being surrounded by S train to the city centre and 2 supermarkets, and a shopping street nearby. There's a bike to explore the lakes at short distance and I recommend Ordrupgaard, a museum with a French impressionist and Danish collection and more, in a parc with sculptures and modern architecture, to be found after a pleasant bike ride that passes a lake and crosser another parc, so lots of beauty around. And Copenhagen is an attractive water city that offers great walks and sightseeing. So thank you very much Annick for this exchange that is such a pleasant memory.

Great housesit in Denmark
I had a great time housesitting for Annick's two cats, Bella and Minimousse in beautiful Gentofte (Northern part of Copenhagen). I had a bike to ride into the city or out to the beautiful Bellevue beach, and enjoyed the English bookstore "Books and Company"in Hellerup. The cats were very sweet. Minimousse was immediately friendly and cuddly, Bella took more time to warm to me as a stranger, initially hissing at me, but by the third week she had adopted me too, and came looking for cuddles. Annick was great about explaining everything about the house and the area around her lovely flat in which there are also many nice books to peruse. I would definitely recommend this housesitting opportunity to anyone who is ok with being a little bit outside of the center of town, in a quiet residential area (closer to nature than to the city).

Great location.
This was a really nice break for myself and daughter in a lovely bright apartment located approximately 15 minutes by metro or 30 minutes cycle to the centre of Copenhagen, a beautiful and lively city. Annick made us very welcome and gave us lots of information on places and events to visit. Both the cats were easy and a pleasure to look after. We really enjoyed our stay.
