About this assignment
I'm looking for a house sitter because I'm going to visit family.
Ideally I would like the house sitter to arrive a day in advance to introduce them to Cali & Freya. I would prefer a single mature lady, but that is not set in stone.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
The house sitters will have care of my home and my lovely little spaniel Cali and my feisty little cat Freya, shes very cute and loving while she gets her own way.. ?
Cali is very easy to please, I've had her for 3 years.. She was abandoned in a field on a chain.. She doesn't bark or lick you and is sometimes a little anxious.. She loves cuddles and her food and treats.. I limit her to 3 treats a day.. Cali cannot be taken outside without a lead as she isnt good with passing cars.. Freya is very independent and again easy to please she comes and goes when it suits her.. They are great pals..
What are the good features of the property and location
I live in a heritage village with many walks, An old 13th century church, a creperie and a lovely lake... I have lovely kind neighbours and lots of peace and quiet.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
My cottage is in the middle of a very pretty village, but the closest amenities are 4 kilometres away... I have a car which if necessary can be used... But I will need to be taken to the airport.
Can I bring my own pets?

We arrived three days in advance, which gave us the chance to meet Pamela, Cali, and Freya. Pamela has a great sense of humor and is very chatty, which we really appreciate. She kindly picked us up from the airport and let us use her car to get around, which was extremely convenient. She also invited us to dinner at the village crêperie (thank you, Pamela—the food was great!). And let’s not forget her delicious paella — truly a 10/10 :) Cali is the most relaxed dog we’ve ever taken care of, and Freya is very sweet and playful. The cottage is located in a heritage village: peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, with an incredible lake nearby. We truly enjoyed every minute of our walks with Cali through those beautiful landscapes. If, like us, you enjoy nature and relaxed places, this is definitely the perfect spot. Together, Pamela, Cali, Freya, and this beautiful place made the whole experience truly worthwhile. We’re very grateful for the opportunity and would absolutely recommend this house sit.
