We are looking a kind and responsible person(s) that will spend days (1st - 9th of August 2020) in our house with cat, dog and 2 guinea pigs company. You don't have to of course sit at home whole days. In the garden they may be needed some watering everyday.
As far as corona virus is considered, nobody from our family was seek and we don't know anybody who was ill. We stay home since middle of March.
Cat - Mruczek - likes being outside usually. He has to be fed 2 times a day and has available litter box in his corner. He likes going out and coming back usually before night. But he doesn't mind staying outside overnight. Guinea pigs need to have grass or dried food, water and company from time to time. Dog - Meksyk walks on morning (7-8 am) afternoon (3 pm) and evening (8 pm) more or less. Eats 2 times a day after walk in the morning and at 6 pm. He is friendly but active. He is pulling when leashed but can run without leash. He is listening commends usually. He is emotionless to other dogs except neigbours' dogs that he doesn't like.
This is renewed old house in Wroclaw, close to tram stop (well communicated with city center). You can check on google map: Starogajowa, Wroclaw. You must visit the old town that is exceptional, with a lot of young people.
There are plenty of CD's to listen to in living room.
Place for a car in house area is available. Wifi as well. About 1 km from the house there is a forest and paths to walk or ride a bike. Bikes are available. Garden is oldstyle and nice to relax on the grass.
Place for a car in house area is available but without roof. It is necessary to clean the cat litter box. To the small shop it is close but bigger one it is Lidl and it is 1,5km. If the weather is hot watering the garden will be necessary every day. The dogs can run away sometimes but he comes back. He eats everything and stilling food from the table so mind your sandwich. For that reason we don't let the dog to go to the kitchen (he was stilling a lot of food).
I liked this petsit a lot; everything was right. First of all: Meksyk the dog is a wonderful nice one, we were friends right from the start. He is very easy to handle and listens very well. It's a pleasure to walk him, you can let him walk loose, he runs and jumps as crazy, and takes a jump in every water he sees, for a nice short swim. He is just happy. The only time you have to leash him is when there's a road ahead, for guiding him across the street. But he comes immediately when you call him, so that's easy to do. The house is really comfortable, and the garden is a paradise full of fruit trees, and hammocks to lie in. The cat is adorable too, will be outside all day but is also cuddly when coming in. Then there's two guinea pigs, they're cute! The neighborhood is really nice, good for walking the dog, very close to the village Lesnica where you can find any shop, and super close to tramstop where a lot of trams per hour take you really cheap to Wroclaw city center, which is a beautiful city!!! Then there's a bike to use (or 2 if you are a couple), and it's a really good one, I loved jumping on the bike and just be free to go wherever I wanted; Lesnica and also Wroclaw center. So I highly recommend this housesit.
I had such a wonderful time house-sitting for Magda and Wawrzek. They're wonderful, kind and interesting people and I enjoyed spending time getting to know them before and after the sit. Their house is lovely, and the vegetable garden bountiful. It was in a really lovely and quiet neighbourhood, close to the tram (for easy access into Wroclaw's old town) and a delightful stroll or short tram ride into the cute little village of Lesnica. But the highlight was Mruczek. He's a great cat - independent but cuddly and affectionate too, when he wants to be. I had so much fun with him and miss him terribly. This is a great house and pet-sit. If you get the opportunity, take it.
This was our first visit to Poland and we felt extremely welcome in Magda & Lawrence's loving home. Lawrence picked us up at the Wroclaw bus station after our long journey from another part of the country. We met their lovely family which included their daughters and adorable pets. We also had the pleasure of meeting some of their friends who came over for dinner the night before our sit began. We felt very much at home and had a fantastic time getting to know everyone. During the sit, we only watched Mruczek, their friendly cat, and he was very easy to care for. He spent the majority of the day outside but came in when it was time to eat and at night before bed. He cuddled with us some during the evening and he was a very well-natured cat. A joy to spend some time with. We had a great location not too far outside of Old Town Wroclaw and we spent a few days exploring the city. It was fun searching for the dwarfs scattered around town. Beautiful architecture and some good spots for a local meal as well. Magda & Lawrence were very responsive to any questions we had during out stay and provided clear instructions for us upon our departure. It was a pleasure sitting for them :) We highly recommend sitting for Magda & Lawrence for a relaxing sit in one of Poland's beautiful cities!
Magdalena and Lawrence, with their two daughters, trusted me to care for their house and pets (dog Meksyk and cat Mruczek) while they were away on a much-anticipated family holiday. I was there in their Wroclaw home for a week, and the time just flew by. Meksyk loves any and all walks, and I took him out at least 3 times a day, sometimes more if he "asked" (nudged my elbow as I worked on computer). Mruczek has his favorite corners, but loves to come up and cuddle and be petted anytime. Both are the politest pets I have ever seen, and seem to understand everything you say. The house is sparkling, the kitchen is lovely, the yard is huge, and the whole area is very quiet and safe, though only a few minutes' walk from the tram stop. I was permitted to use the house wifi, and it was fine for my purposes. I got a lot done on computer that week, and still was able to slip downtown every couple of days. Anyone thinking to homestay here: this family gives excellent instructions, and is always available if any questions arise. Much obliged! and I hope I was everything you needed, Kubeczak family! I'd love to come again.
