What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The main task required of the sitter is to pump water after heavy rain from the house tank up to the storage tanks for use in the house.
Garden maintenance would be wonderful, but not necessary. If you don't feel comfortable on a ride on mower, our son nearby can be coerced into doing a quick mow if the grass gets untidy.

What are the good features of the property and location

There are no pets to care for on this one. Don't worry if you're an animal lover - you can watch the birds, ducks and wildlife from the front window. Most neighbours have dogs so I'm sure they'll let you play with them regularly.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We're in a village about 40 mins from Hobart, Tasmania. A car is probably a necessity as the closest supermarket is 12km away. There is a local store and a restaurant relatively nearby.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
