About this assignment

We're looking for a responsible sitter who will take great care of our dog, Maya, providing pets behind her ears and her favorite treats after walks. We would love photos every now and again as she is very important to us.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Our house sitter will be responsible for walking and playing with our dog, weekly fish feeding and plant watering, and letting us know if any problems arise.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live at the base of Big Cottonwood Canyon in Sandy, Utah surrounded by world-class hiking, the home of Real Salt Lake, and about 15 minutes from vibrant Salt Lake City. Sandy is at a moderately high elevation and while it can be hot in the summer, we have our cool days too. Our apartment has windows that face the Uinta Mountains on one side and the Wasatch on the other. Our three-bedroom apartment is well-appointed and the complex has a pool, a bbq area, and a gym.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We're really looking for a summer companion for Maya, our approximately ten-year-old border heeler. She loves walks, likes to talk to you, and while she can be alone for many hours at a time, prefers company.
