About this assignment

We are looking for someone who has experience with rescue and senior dogs and enjoys living in a country setting in an older house. Non-smoker and communicative.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Giving lots of love our dog, Floyd. Taking Floyd on walks around the neighborhood. Watering plants and garden, fetching mail (Floyd will help). Communicating with us about how things are going.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are located in a rural area 15 minutes from downtown Asheville with all its restaurants, breweries, music venues and hiking, biking and paddling opportunities. The house was built in 1910 and still has the historic features but it is comfortable and filled with character. Setting is quiet and peaceful.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The location is 5 minutes from grocery store and other services but a car is neccesary because we don't have any public transportation this far from town.
