What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Our cat comes and goes as she pleases via a cat flap, so no special requirements. She'll just need some food and affection.
Garden is low maintenance.
There are 2 security cameras which cover the area behind the house. There are no cameras in the house.
Can I bring my own pets?

Wonderful time with wonderful people!
It was an absolute pleasure to help out Julian and Stephanie. I instantly fell in love with their gentle cat Ginge, a cat with a soft and indepentent nature. I felt at home and Julian and Stephanie did everything they could to provide a comfortable stay for me. The house is very comfortable and the scenery is absolutely spectacular. Port Vendres is a cute village with very friendly people. I had a very memorable time and still miss princes Ginge! Many thanks to very friendly and easygoing cat parents.

Wonderful time in Port Vendres
We are still in the “after enjoying” time! We where the lucky ones to take care of a beautiful comfortable house and the lovely Ginge, a cat with a special character. The owners are very friendly, easygoing and relax people, they gave us a warm welcome and we immediately felt like home. We had a nice dinner together and we quickly learned to know each other, it was very cozy. Ginge is a very sweet cat and needs here cuddles, she is asking for her food and when it is time to give the attention she will have. The house with a beautiful view, the sunny climate and the various areas are a additional present. We loved our stay and we hope that we can come back to sit for S&J again. Thanks, Peter and Joanne

Lovely house sit in Port Vendres
We had a wonderful time taking care of Ginge in Port Vendres over the summer. Stephanie and Julien were lovely and gave us very thorough details before we arrived. They also left a very useful booklet with all the information we needed during our stay. Ginge is a gorgeous, independent but loving cat who was very easy to take care of. Stephanie and Julien's house is beautiful, with a stunning view of the port and the sea. There are lots of wonderful beaches in the area as well as hikes and beautiful towns and villages to visit. We had a fantastic time on this house sit and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Gorgeous Ginge
Spent 6 days in Port Vendres, one of the nicest houses we have stayed in and the view was stunning. Ginge kept us amused with her antics and was very easy to care for, we had a lovely time and would definitely sit for Steph again if we are available, highly recommend this sit if you get the opportunity to do it.

Wonderful Experience
Stephanie & Julien were wonderful to sit for. Their home, perched high overlooking Port Vendres and the sparkling Mediterraean, was lovely, modern, and very comfortable. They left a very detailed explanation of instructions so you felt confident and in charge to take care of their home. Ginge, their sweet kitty, was a dream to care for. As cats do, she came and went on her own terms but liked cuddles and attention when she felt the need! If you're looking for a lovely sit in a beautiful part of France, then Stephanie & Julien's place will make you happy you took the sit!

Beautiful home in a great location overlooking the sea
Stephanie and Julian were very welcoming and made us feel at home right away. They were extremely organised and had a detailed home book. Their home was very comfortable, modern and tidy. We both enjoyed our time with Ginge. She was easy to look after and had lots of character. We enjoyed the many hiking trails accessed directly from the house. There are many places of interest to visit nearby by car. We can highly recommend this sit and hope to be asked back again.
