About this assignment

Calm, nature loving, seeking connection and peaceful environment. Must be ok with dog & horse hair :) (we have a good washing machine & hair sticky-thingy remover)

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed the dogs, horses & chicken. Allow the dogs in & out of the house into the garden several times a day (pee & poop - no need to clean after them, it's good compost for the garden!) That's it!

What are the good features of the property and location

Extreme silence. Calm environment, in the middle of nature. Big house, garden, mountains. 90min from an international airport (Bilbao or Santander). You will be able to completely relax & feel how you recover from your stress/busy life!

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

This is a VERY remote area. The roads are great and you will only have to drive 10min to get into town/ a decent supermarket. You'll need your own car.

You don't need to know a lot about horses and you will not be expected to clean after them, just provide hay once a day. Same for the dogs, good food (prepared by us & frozen in advance) once a day and for the chickens it's even easier as the water & food tanks last at least a week.

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: to be discussed case by case! Our dogs love cats, and accept all other dogs/animals.
