House sit in Vegas

About this assignment

I am hoping to find someone polite and clean who can enjoy Las Vegas, but still provide excellent care of my home and dogs. We provide a roof over your head, and with verification of drivers license, keys to our vehicle. We have been lucky and found many house sitters who want to board for free while they experience Las Vegas. Edit—- This is a unique sit opportunity. My spouse and daughter are going out of town, I am getting surgery on my wrist a few weeks earlier. What I am hoping to find, is someone to lend me an occasional hand.. maybe open a jar type thing… and care for my dogs while I am at work 6-3 daily. Evenings are all yours. You can go explore or relax in the bedroom with tv and computer or a good book.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Check mail weekly, Walk dogs daily(not applicable in summer). Clean up dog feces about twice a week. Ensure dogs have clean food and water. Edit— this sit is just play with the dogs. Feed, nap, take a walk if the weather is nice.

What are the good features of the property and location

Extremely quiet neighborhood. Great place to walk to grocery store, bar,church, gym. Nice location in quiet cul de sac.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Criminal Background check and/or reference check needed. This home is not along any bus routes. There is plenty to do in walking distance. Due to health conditions this is a 100% smoke free home. We have a nice back yard and a misting fan where smoking is permitted.

EDIT.. I’m posting now just to see if this would interest anyone.. The cruise is 5-12, the opportunity may be a couple days more, will firm up once airline tickets are purchased.

About me.. staying in home.. 54 male, rehab from broken wrist surgery, high school guidance counselor. I don’t drink, smoke etc, but have no problems if you do. Smoking on back patio only. I am really easy going and will give you as much space as you ask for. We can dine together or you can do your own thing. I get free tickets to some shows occasionally, I’d have to accompany you, but lots of free tix as a local for magicians, carrot top, and other smaller shows. I hope to give you the master bedroom, with private bath, but I’m not promising that at this point. Dependent on my recovery/comfort at the time. You may get the other private room but bathroom is not attached.

We have an old cocker spaniel who sometimes gets irritated by his much younger siblings. They don’t “fight”, but our little one is sometimes overly affectionate and old fart doesn’t like her in his space. That is honestly biggest task of this assignment.

Can I bring my own pets?
