I am looking for someone who can look after the house, be a co-host for an Airbnb listing and show any potential buyers around the property after September 2020.
Making sure the house and any guests are well looked after, washing and cleaning is done, central heating is working and that changeovers go smoothly. Making sure any potential buyers are shown around the property.
Set in the heart of the 1916 Somme battlefields, this is a lovely, much improved and extended, detached, 1920s property, with superb holiday rental and/or B+B potential! The house, located in the quiet, rural, historic, Picardie village of Beaucourt sur l’Ancre, has unrivalled, stunning views of the famous, much visited and explored, July 1st 1916 Ulster Regiment battlefield of Thiepval, Schwaben Redoubt and Grandcourt. The property is the perfect base from which to explore on foot the July 1st 1916 Somme battlefield villages, memorial sites and cemeteries. Beaucourt sur l’Ancre is superbly located, being situated midway between the two lovely, historic cities of Arras and Amiens, whilst Paris, Lille, Reims (the unofficial capital of the Champagne region), the beautiful Bay of the Somme, Le Touquet, Bruges and Ypres can all be reached within 2 hours. The ports of Zeebrugge (daily sailings from Hull), Calais and Boulogne are less than 2 hours’ drive from the village too. The town of Albert with its beautiful basilica, impressive town hall (where President Macron and Theresa May dined in November 2018), Great War museum, 1780 public gardens, supermarket, shops, banks and train station, with frequent services to Lille (Eurostar) and Amiens, is only 15 minutes’ drive via the Ulster Tower and Thiepval Memorial.
That the house is up for sale and that I am also advertising for longer term rentals as well as short term via Airbnb.
