Great wkd getaway for nature and dog lovers while close to downtown

About this assignment

I am mainly looking for someone to care for my 2, 4 legged fur babies, Shelby (black) and Tyson (white) Shelby is a 9.5 year old lab/shepherd mix. Tyson is a 2.5 year old American Staffordshire. They are such loving dogs. Don’t expect them to be walked but played with and let out in the fenced yard.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

They get fed twice daily. And sometimes get treats in toys for stimulations.
There are a few plants that will need to be watered. Aside from that, normal daily living tasks. And enjoy the nature.

What are the good features of the property and location

Located in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood, no back neighbours, just behind the famous Gatineau park where you can hike, bike, run, bird watch, simply enjoy the nature. You have Le Nordik Spa 8 minutes away, the biggest in North America, an absolute must :)
Even though you feel like you’re in nature, you are 10 minutes away from the National Capital where you can explore the city, enjoy the by-ward market, there are 4 museums within 10 minutes as well.
Grocery stores, movie theater, winners, couple restaurants, pharmacy, banks, plaza are all within 2-3 km and the city bus is just down the street.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Shelby can be reactive to other dogs and Tyson tends to follow suit so I don’t expect any walks. They are great with people, they have the 90 second of excitement when they meet you, then they are calm.
Preferably you come a day or 2 before I leave so you can see how things are done.
I live in a townhouse with 3 plus 1 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. You’ll have your bedroom and private bathroom.
