About this assignment

We are looking for a person ,that wants to spend a quiet time in the nature of the South of Spain, in the Sierra de Almería.

It would be great someone who is used to living with dogs, we have a beautiful dog Mastín but something naughty. Someone who loves summer hot weather and take care of the garden.
The house is cold at this time of year, but we have solutions to show the person who comes. Even so, at this time of year you should bring warm fleece clothing; that helps a lot. There is a fireplace.
And you must also love the silence...

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The first responsibility is to enjoy the environment , to take care of the dog with affection,watering daily tomatoes , potatoes,etc..There are 3 orchards ,this can take you about two hours a day.
Feed the chickens every morning and collect the eggs...
And some 'small field work that appears pending,or that you feel like exploring.
Watering is not necessary during the winter months, except in the small greenhouse.

What are the good features of the property and location

The place has ample land, of almond trees, olive trees and wild vegetation,including a small pool of water from the mountain
where frogs and insects also live.It's a mountainous ground at 1000 m above sea level.
The nearest town is 3.5km away, it's a small town where on Wednesday there is a small food market. But the town where the shops are is about 20km away.
The natural park of Cabo de gata, idyllic place ,full of dream beaches,
is an hour away by car,but the beaches of the Mediterranean closest to the house are 45min by car.
The temperature rises 10 degrees when you get closer to the sea,

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The house is in the mountain ,hot place in summer, there are insects, many birds, you breathe solitude and wellbeing.In winter it's a green place, the months of summer the landscape changes color to a more desertic tone. It is a zone of scarce rain.

Can I bring my own pets?
