Three Cats in need of a Mature Petsitter

About this assignment

We are looking for a very responsible, mature person preferably retired or working from home, and who will be attentive to our pets and our home. No additional pets please. We have a cleaning lady at least once during the stay or once every two weeks.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Cats eat three times a day, wet food and dry food snacks occasionally. Our cats do not have special needs such as medication. Female Zoey is calm and sweet, and our male Zen is outgoing and friendly. Zack is a thirteen month old kitten and loves to play. All three love affection and attention. There is a requirement to water a couple of house plants in winter or few plants on our deck and outside in summer. We do have an in-ground, automatic sprinkler system for most of our property.

What are the good features of the property and location

We have a three-story town home in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to very quaint Old Town Alexandria where you will find many restaurants, shops and bars on the Potomac river. Alexandria is 10 miles from Washington, D.C. host to the nations capital and a thriving metropolitan area and we are just a five minute walk from the Metro and buses.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Be kind to our cats and respect our property. Feed and water them and keep the litter boxes clean Communicate with use regularly during the stay with news and a few pictures of our cats occasionally.
