Easy cats. They like to play. When hungry Cleopatra bites legs but don't worry without harming
Catsitter for Cleopatra a 2 years old cat (maybe mother by the time you'll arrive) and Grey a 1 year male cat and Nanako black and white female 1year old. Independent and organized person, able to find their/his/her way around the area. There are plenty of thing to do, we will give you all information you need.
We need a person or two to look after our house for 10 days +/- and keep the house open.
We are in other platforms and we also do home/houseexchange.
We will be more relax to know that one person or a couple, with experience and references, can care our cats and our house and, if it happens, houseexchangers.
In this area there are many storms during summer and in case of blackout is important to reconnect electricity (frigde, freezer, solar panels)
We hosted Julian in 2019 from Australia, Orsy and Biagio from Hungary in 2020 and Adelaide from Austria in 2021 and 2022.
We always host tourists, travellers, helpers, workawyers etc. during all year from other websites. We are flexible and we search the same mindset.
Our house is 10/15 minutes away from Pordenone center. It's a small town but in summer there are many events (music, dance, etc.) most of them for free.
If you have a car we have seaside (40 minutes away), mountains (30 minutes) school of mosaic with summer programs (20 minutes). By bicycles - 3 bikes for adults and 1 for kids/young) you can finds everyday a place to visit or a "tour" to do.
- Experience with practical idea how to solve small problems like black out or violent storms (in summer here they can be scary)
- 10 days starting from 13/14
- Possibly with references from other MMH owners or some other websites of the same type (Helpx / Workaway, Hyppohelp, etc).

Seeking pet connections around the world! Semi-retired Canadian female looking for pet sitting opportunities
So grateful that Orietta and Angelo trusted us to look after their cats and home! Outstanding people! This was my first international petsit through Mindmyhouse! My friend Gary came along. What a memorable experience! Gracious hosts, comfortable clean home, great surroundings and wonderful cats! Nanako had 6 two week old kittens when we arrived and she was the best mom! Such sweet moments spent watching the kittens and holding them! Nanako did all the work, we just made sure she had all the food she needed so that she could look after her babies properly. She also welcomed some loving, super sweet cat. The other two cats were also easy to look after, all they needed from us was food and some love when they felt like it. Beautiful Cleopatra is clearly the "boss" and if you are not paying attention to her when she is hungry she will remind you that she rules! As Orietta mentioned, a little love bite at the back of the leg! She totally took me by surprise, we all laughed so hard! Grey is not complicated at all and also enjoys his time with humans! Those cats gave us such joy! The house is well located. Quiet neighborhood and bus stop 3 minutes away. Pordenone is 20 minutes away, a nice , clean city with a beautiful old area. Beautiful castle with winery. Excellent wines. Ask Angelo and Orietta about the best pizzeria in the whole country! Truly! Still craving it! All amenities were close to the house for grocery shopping. We also enjoyed riding the bikes that they left for us through gorgeous country roads. We went to Venice and Trieste by train on day trips. We had the pleasure of meeting both Orietta and Angelo and hope we have the opportunity to welcome them into our Canadian homes one day! Ciao and thank you for the unforgettable experience! Highly recommended! Line and Gary, British Columbia, Canada.

A Heartwarming Pet Sitting Experience in Pordenone
We had the privilege of caring for Cleopatra, the queen of the house, Mr. Grey, the adorable feline, and tiny Nanako, who captured our hearts. Orietta and Angelo welcomed us into their cozy home, conveniently located near everything we needed. Whether by bicycle, occasional car (which Orietta graciously lent us), or train station, we had easy access to the Dolomites and Venice—a dream come true. Upon entering, we were met with the comforting purr of content cats, curious whiskers exploring our presence, and soulful eyes that seemed to understand us. Each cat had its unique personality, and once they grew comfortable with us, they even brought us little presents! 😺 Orietta treated us to a delightful Japanese dinner, and the family shared heartwarming meals. We had conversations late into the night about everything and their two brilliant sons always provided a youthful perspective! Charming villages surround the house, the Dolomite mountains, and the spectacular Venice—all within reach. The surrounding parks and trails offered a peaceful oasis for long walks. We also had the honor of meeting Angelo’s lovely mother, who always sent us home with bags of organic veggies and eggs after our visits—an honor indeed. The cats, independent and adorable, freely moved in and out through cat doors. Orietta provided detailed instructions for their care, feeding schedules, and other essentials. The house itself was super comfortable, adorned with a few houseplants that required minimal attention. Creature comforts abounded, making our stay truly memorable. Saying goodbye to the family and the cats was hard, and we are left with beautiful memories. Thank you, Orietta, Angelo, your boys, and the cats, for these unforgettable moments! We hope to be back in the future🐾🏡❤️

Pordenone 2019
I was very fortunate to have the pleasure of looking after Angelo and Orietta's house in Porcia and looking after the Queen of the house Noami for a month whilst they were on holidays. It was a very clean, tidy house, easy to maintain and Noami was an absolute breeze to look after. I was welcomed with open arms and looked after so well and now feel like part of the family. The location was great and train station was an easy bike ride which made it so accessible to so many places. I was able to do day trips to Venice, Udine, Treviso, and Trieste. I met some friends of the family who took me under there wing and I was able to see the real local side of the community which was a wonderful experience. Having the bikes to ride around and take in the beautiful scenery was great. Exploring Pordenone for the day was bliss and friends drove me to Austria for lunch one day and next swimming at the beach. So much to do!! If you get the opportunity to do this house sit. I would highly recommend it!!
