Bella is older but still playful sometimes, she's grumpy. Susu is very shy at the begginning but very confident and playful otherwise. Venom is older and has some health issues, so she needs medication once a day (orally)

About this assignment
We're looking for someone who can love our cats and keep them happy while we're away. They should be patient and know how to give both our cats space as they're a bit special with new people.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feeding them 3 times a day (morning and night wet, middle of the day dry), daily scooping their litterboxes, keeping the house cool during the summer, clean and organized
What are the good features of the property and location
It's in a very tranquil neighborhood, close to beautiful parks like Madrid Río and the Enrique Tierno Galván park, 2 minute walk to the metro (underground), 15-20 min metro ride to the city center. Nice swimming pool in the building for the summer.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
First of all that Madrid in the summer can get very hot. We have fans and 1 portable air conditioner that can help managing the heat, but ultimately you can't go outside during the middle of the day for long periods of time.
Also, one of our cats gets stressed out easily and is not always easy to handle, so ideally you should be experienced on all types of cats.

Restrictions: Only tranquil dogs compatible with cats

A fantastic cat sit in the Spanish capital
I had a wonderful little "workation" in Madrid looking after Sandra and Joel’s cats. The time flew by so quickly that I honestly felt a bit sad to leave. Both Lady Bella and Mr. Susu have their own unique personalities, just as you'd expect from cats :) Susu started off a little shy, but he quickly opened up and became a real cuddlebug. Bella is more independent and knows her boundaries, but she still liked to curl up on the bed and listen to music with me. Of course, both were always happy to remind me when it was mealtime :) The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and very well located - close to public transport, yet central enough to explore most of the city on foot. The swimming pool was a real bonus in the heat of the Madrid summer. Sandra and Joel were great to communicate with from the very beginning - kind, responsive, and clearly passionate about animals and environment. You can really feel the warm, welcoming energy in their space. Thank you both again for having me - it was a real pleasure, and I’d be more than happy to come back if the opportunity ever comes up.
