Pet sitting in a quiet farm of Central Portugal

About this assignment

As I need to travel regularly and my dogs needs long walks, I am looking for someone to take care of my farm during my trips.
I am flexible for the dates but for at least 4 weeks of the stay. Possibility to stay on all or part of the period indicated.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

-Take care of my dogs (daily walk).
-From time to time give some hay to my goats and sheep.
-Give the delivery codes to the postman and sign for any mail or Amazon order I should receive.

What are the good features of the property and location

The forest landscapes are beautiful.
Central Portugal is mostly rural and quiet but the big city nearby (Castelo Branco) is only 30mn (by bus of car). Many walks are possible (I have bikes) on beautiful trails, there are plenty of villages to visit and local festivals.
The farm is isolated but it is less than 15 minutes away on foot, 5 minutes by car or bicycle.
The village has everything you may need: grocery, pharmacy, ATM, health center, post office, restaurants.
There is a good internet connection (Starlink).
Your bathroom and your bed are new.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The guest must love dogs, nature, silence and tranquility.
Central Portugal is not Southern Spain: it's never cold but it may rains a lot on winter... For days.

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: Can bring one dog if he's ok with other animals (including my sheep and goats).
