I'm looking for a person who is clean, considerate, and responsible, who can stay at my house and take care of my cats while I'm away.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed and water the cats and scoop their litter daily. One cats gets a pill daily, but he's very easy-going about it. There are also 3 houseplants that will need water probably just once during the stay. Bring the mail in every few days, and generally make the place look occupied.

What are the good features of the property and location

Convenient location, cozy house, off-street parking and secure garage for bike parking, fiber WiFi, well equipped kitchen; close to restaurants, shops, and transit; the cats are cute and sweet; the weather is usually nice, even in December. Pleasant back yard.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

This is a pretty easy housesit. Both cats get fed dry once a day, then one cat gets a small serving of wet later on. Litter gets scooped daily and water should also be refreshed daily. The two cats are 11 years old and very friendly and mellow. I'm looking for someone who is able to stay here for the duration of the sit dates. And I'll appreciate the occasional text update and kitty pic!

I always leave a written note for my house sitters that includes information that is good to have on hand, such as WiFi, emergency and vet contacts, neighbor's contact info, as well as other things I think will make their stay go more smoothly and comfortably.
