About this assignment

Looking for long term house sitter for Bournemouth, UK
Dates: 12th November - 13th March (4 months, slightly flexible) that can deal with any issues that arise.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

About the sit:
We don’t have any animals here (other than a few fish) so this sit is slightly different to a usual one. We have a large property in central Bournemouth, and are looking for a responsible person to be on site while we are away and be able to deal with any issues that might arise.
For example, someone to reset the breaker if the electricity trips or to be able to contact the electrician if more serious. As well as other bits and bobs like forwarding post to us in Australia. Other than keeping the indoor plants watered there’s not any regular duties as such.
We are looking for someone with experience and/or references for this sit.

What are the good features of the property and location

About the space you’d get:
We have a newly refurbed ‘studio’ as your private space on the ground floor of the main house. Nothing is shared except the laundry facilities (you have your own bathroom, patio, large kitchen & lounge area.

Please see the pictures for an idea of the space.

As it will be over the winter we are looking for someone happy to contribute to the electricity/gas during their stay.

Close to the beach, the train station, 20 minute walk along the beach to the town centre. We are in a gated property in a tree lined avenue on the East Cliff of Bournemouth.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We would prefer a vegetarian for this sit as we have a vegetarian kitchen. (Please mention that you are vegetarian or vegan in your application)

We are looking for one person with experience and/or references for this sit.

We are close to the train station and you don’t need a car for this sit however it might be an advantage.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
