Easy long term sit for free

About this assignment

We are looking for a house sitter who will sit for free in exchange for living in our house with all utilities, including cable and WIFI, who is responsible and knows what keeping the house safe and clean. Someone who has their own transportation and does not smoke or do drugs and has a copy of their police report.
Someone who can care for our plants and keep an eye on the Koi in the garden pond. No care is needed for the Koi, just be sure the bubbler is working.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Responsibilities include:
1. Keeping the house orderly and clean
2. Caring for and watering the plants, being sure not to overwater and damage the hardwood shelves and floors
3. Maintain the sump pumps
4. Monitoring the Koi pond to be sure there is a hole in the ice at all times.
5. Keep the driveway shoveled of snow.
6. Enjoy the house as we have for the past 33 yrs.
7. You must have your own transportation

What are the good features of the property and location

The house is conviently located to major highways and the thruway.
Numerous grocery stores and shopping within a few miles.
Numerous parks for hiking or easy walking near by
Private lot with wildlife and many birds if you keep the feeders full.
Very peaceful setting

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You must have your own transportation.
Only the applicants are allowed to stay on the premises except if prior arrangements are made with owners.
Absolutely no pets or children.
Non smokers only
Be able to climb stairs seeing the free laundry is in the basement and the bedrooms are on the second floor.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
