10 day/ 9 night Farm Stay in Boulder, CO!

About this assignment

Hello! We are looking for an animal loving singleton or a couple to stay at our 38 acre ranch in Boulder, CO. An ideal sitter would be someone who wakes up early, loves animals and the outdoors, and id very responsible.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed 2 dogs once a day
Feed 4 ducks and change pond water twice a day
Feed 25 chickens twice a day
Feed 2 piglets twice a day
Feed 2 cats once a day
Let out chickens and ducks in the morning around 7am and close and lock the door to coop before bed. No later than 8pm.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live on 38 acres in unincorportaed Boulder. It is truly the best of both worlds. We are so close to Pearl St you could bike from our property but are also surrounded by organic farms! We are less than 15 minutes from trails in the mountains but also have more local walking spots. The property itself is sprawling with lots to explore.

The cottage is 1200 sq ft, 2 bedroom 1 bath house. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other room has 2 bunk beds for our kids that we do not intend the sitter to use.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

There are a lot of animals on the property so please only apply if you 1) love animals 2) wake up early and 3) are extremely responsible. We have coyotes, foxes and racoons on the properties every night and they will eat our lovely ladies (the hens) if let outside.

Can I bring my own pets?
