About this assignment

I'm looking for a warm and responsible house sitter to look after my very sweet cat while I am away for the winter break. A little light plant care would also be lovely.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Cat:
- Daily Brushing
- Daily Feeding of Wet Food
- Changing Litterbox every 2-3 weeks (he has an automatic litterbox)
- Generally hanging out with the cat

Plants:
Watering once a week

What are the good features of the property and location

My apartment is set up nearly like a studio, with a large living area and separate bed nook to yourself (as pictured). The bathroom features a huge, deep claw foot tub which is wonderful for soaks.

The apartment is in a great location - 2 minutes from the T Green Line (B), and a 7 minute walk to the 66 bus to Harvard.

Plenty of grocery stores (BFresh, Whole Foods, etc), restaurants, bars, etc in the neighborhood, and a twenty minute walk from Brookline with its great indie theatre, and more shops. The actual street is fairly quiet, so noise doesn't tend to be an issue.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

My dates are flexible. I'll be out of town from 12/10 - 1/22, but my roommate Teddy (respectful and busy - you will probably never see them!) will only be gone from 12/22-1/10. So while I definitely want to cover the period Teddy will be gone, there's wiggle room on the dates in general.
