Peaceful and very secluded woodland home with 3 dogs and 1 cat

About this assignment

We would love to invite someone to our home who enjoys the company of dogs and cats. We have only one room available for guests so a maximum of 2 adults is all we can take on. Our place is very private and secluded, but 5 minutes drive from the local town, so you must have a car. Our woodland covers 40 acres of hilly ground and hasn't any surfaced paths (river walks are firm but others can be fun and challenging) so you will need a level of agility and fitness to walk the dogs

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Walking the dogs and feeding the dogs & cat are the main responsibilities. Bringing the dogs for walks on our land and keeping the animals company. There are plants in our nursery that will need watering each morning, this should take about 30 minutes. Putting on a fire in the kitchen stove each day if its cold. Wood is chopped and close to the back door. Our hemp round house on the property will need airing each day or so, also a nice place for morning yoga

What are the good features of the property and location

Beautiful, peaceful, very private and quite location in the west of Ireland. The property has 40 acres of forestry with 6 acres of ancient native woodland and home to so many wild animals(deers.badgers, foxes, pine martins, red squirrels). A stream runs along the boundary of the property which fills a large pond in front of the house. Our closest neighbour is about 1km away.
The house is warm and spacious with stove and central heating, fiber broadband internet, no TV but projector. Electric gates with camera at the entrance.
Co. Clare is full of exciting places for nature lovers, from the Burren in West Clare and the beautiful coastline to lakes very suited for fishing and swimming.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Must like outdoors, dogs and cats. Must enjoy complete silence as we are many miles from motorways and main roads. Must have own transport. You will need rain gear for walks on wet days.
