About this assignment
I just need someone to perform the basic duties of cat sitting-feeding them and changing the litter box. Those offended by a cat that probably won't give you the time of day probably shouldn't apply lol.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Other than the duties above, I would just expect the sitter to keep my home relatively clean and in the condition in which they found it.
What are the good features of the property and location
My home is in an ocean front high rise on the 5th floor. The building has a large, resort style pool, a great workout room and 24 hour security. It is conveniently located between the beach front entertainment areas of Pompano Beach & Lauderdale by the Sea. Lauderdale by the Sea has an on-call shuttle which will take you to its main restaurant areas for $2 a ride.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
If you have a car, mandatory valet parking is $4/day in my building. South Florida beaches are experiencing a large amount of sargassum (seaweed) this summer.
Can I bring my own pets?

The Place in Pompano!
I enjoyed my 2 weeks at Susan's place. She is very chill and accommodating. I took care of her 2 cats who were not much trouble. - Molly & Luna. Molly wouldn't warm up to me but I was warned that was the case. Of course, that made her little trouble for me, and Luna was friendly but not demanding. There's a nice Florida Room overlooking a canal. My first day there I caught a double rainbow. Nearing dusk, I spotted some Manatee snouts but not much else as it had been raining heavily this particular visit and water was a bit daker than usual. Pompano itself is a great spot on the East Coast as you are just above the hustle and bustle of Miami and though not far from it's airport. However, Ft. Lauderdale is the closest and I flew into there. Yet, the West Palm Beach airport isn't too far either. Quite frankly, I prefer Pompano Beach any day over Miami. The beach is just as nice, even nicer without as much congestion.
