About this assignment
I’m looking for a responsable person or couple who love cats and take good care of my cat Nilo as well of the apartment. It’s a small apartment but with a big roof terrace, a hammock and a lot of plants,
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Take care of the cat Nilo: give him food and clean the cat litter. Nilo loves to go out on the terrace (access through the stairway) and you have to let him out and in. Please give water to the plants and keep the apartment clean.
What are the good features of the property and location
The apartment has a big roof terrace with views over the city, it’s very centric in Poblesec close to plaça España and only 7 min to the metro station. Very quiet neighborhood next to Montjuïc. The apartment has AC with heating.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Nilo likes to comunicate a lot, he loves to go outside and he miaos to get out & back in. He can stay on the terrace for hours alone. And he loves food :)
The apartment is very small with a tiny bathroom and the bed is only 135 x 180 cm, best suited for not very tall persons.
I will ask the House Sitter to cover the costs of Internet, electricity, heating & water.
Can I bring my own pets?

Gucci & Nilo
I looked after Gucci and Nilo for three weeks in November. Gucci, the older cat, loved nothing more than to sit on my lap whenever she got the chance. Nilo loved nothing more than eating. They were both incredibly lovely and were a pleasure to look after. Marion's apartment has everything that is needed and is in a great location for exploring Barcelona. We loved Nilo and Gucci :)
Marion's apartment has all that you need and the rooftop terrace was extremely nice for the winter. We really enjoyed living with Nilo and Gucci, the cats. They are really sweet and lovely. Although we stayed just for a week, we can recommend the house sit for sure. If you want to know Barcelona, the flat is very central and well connected. The communication with Marion was easy and nice. We hope to see Nilo, Gucci and Marion again any time in life! Alejandro and Berta

Great cats in Barcelona city center
Marion, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and gave us all the instructions we needed to take care of her great two cats. The younger cat, Nilo, was a bit shyer at the beginning, but still active and ravenous and wanted to go to the terrace and only come back for food, so we had to let him in and out. The older cat, Gucci, was more affectionate and liked laps, but required a bit more attention as she has some special food, so we had to be aware of who ate what. Unfortunately during our stay, Gucci got sick, but Marion told us exactly what we needed to know and was fully in control of the situation. Furthermore, she immediately covered the vet costs, and in the end, Gucci recovered completely. The apartment was very clean and had access to a wonderful terrace with a fantastic view of Barcelona, as it was in the city center with walking distance to some highlights. Marion was very trustworthy, everything went smooth, and we enjoyed the cats' company having all in all an awesome experience, so I would absolutely recommend her!
