House with one small dog in Vancouver, Washington

About this assignment

Someone to look after my sweet little dog and take care of my house. Dog will need to be fed. Short walks are optional.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed the Cookie and give her medication. There is a doggie door and a fenced back yard, so Cookie can take care of her own potty needs and can be left alone during the day. During the summer, might have to water potted plants on patio.

What are the good features of the property and location

My house is a 1963 ranch style house (one level) with a fenced in back yard. There is a large covered patio. The house has been completely updated. Kitchen has all necessary appliances.

Vancouver, Washington is across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon, which is about 7 or 8 miles south. We are close to the Columbia River Gorge which has numerous trails, waterfalls, etc.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Even though you'll be caring for Cookie, you can leave her at home alone during the day so you can take advantage of all of the sightseeing and activities in the area.

I have an apartment (Air BNB) with a separate entrance connected to my house. House sitters will be able to stay a few days extra before and/or after the sit.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
