Enjoy the adventure that awaits you in a rural area of beautiful Cambridgeshire. Watch over our beloved pets while we visit with family outside of England and provide them with their daily medications, activities, and dinner.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are centrally located near Huntingdon, Cambridge, and Peterborough. The house is a three-bedroom, two-bath farmhouse situated on a large agricultural farm with walking paths into Elsworth, where you can see the Vicarage where the author of Thomas the Train lived while he was the vicar for the village church. We are also a short drive to many area attractions, such as Anglesey Abbey, Bury St. Edmunds, Peterborough Cathedral, and Woburn Safari Park.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our German Shepard requires daily medication twice daily, and her mobility is limited to playing in the yard for short periods. They are very active dogs but generally well-behaved and can be very protective of their home and family. Transportation would be needed due to the distance from public transportation as it is an isolated area. Arrival a few days early would be beneficial, so the dogs can adjust while we are still home and will become accustomed to your presence in the home.
