About this assignment
We're looking for a friendly person (or couple) who loves dogs. We would prefer someone who works/studies from home to keep the dogs company but you don't need to be with them all the time. They are very nice dogs. Communication and cleanliness are also important.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Looking after our two dogs includes: Walking at least 3 times a day (with one longer walk), feeding twice a day and following the doggy house rules (e.g., no dogs on the bed). They also love pats and play.
They are easy to look after and super friendly. Every dog sitter we have had has enjoyed their company.
What are the good features of the property and location
There are great things to see, do and eat in Valencia. It's a really beautiful city. Our apartment is located in Montolivet.
Our apartment is close to the City of Arts and Sciences, very close to the Turia (a 10km long park), close to a metro station and close to Rusufa. The old city is about a 20 minute walk or you can catch the bus or Metro. Our apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood on the top floor. There is an elevator which can fit two people and two dogs.
There is a supermarket 100m from our front door, a pharmacy on the same street and pretty much anything you would need is very close.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
We would like to meet in person if possible or chat online if you are travelling.
The apartment is standard and modern with a nice balcony for two. WiFi, TV, full kitchen, comfortable sofa.
We are a bit house proud so we are really looking for someone who will treat the house as their own and leaves it as clean as they found it :)

Amazing Dog Sit in Valencia
Joyce and Luke made our start with Doom and Keira super smooth- with detailed introduction and a super friendly welcome gathering. Doom and Keira are really nice dogs, which share lots of love. We had really nice walks with the doggies in the Turia Park. They are also both great companions for home office days. The flat itself is super comfortable and great located. We enjoyed our stay a lot and can highly recommend it.

It was a great experience working with Joyce and Luke. I was provided with very clear guidance before starting my position and after my arrival. Luke took me for a walk with the gorgeous doggies, Keira and Doom before their departure. I was left with a very clear structure in which made my stay calm. The doggies were the best companions, very sweet and obedient. I truly enjoyed spending time with both of these very charming cuties. Thank you Joyce and Luke for your trust and your professionalism throughout my stay. Your home was fabulous and very close to all one needed to enjoy it all. Art, culture, cafes, public transport and the river! I really enjoyed my stay. To have a great time in such historic town, and to deal with nice people, I highly recommend Joyce and Luke.

The perfect place with Doom and Keira
My boyfriend and I were welcomed in the best way in the house of Luke & Joyce, a cute couple who welcomed us to Maastricht, together with their puppies Doom and Keira. We stayed in their house, and we took care of the dogs for about 2 weeks, which for us has been a wonderful time, because we have bonded with Keira and Doom from the beginning. They are very obedient and cuddly dogs. They like walks, caresses and being together. We miss them so much, but we are happy with this experience. Luke&Joyce, are friendly and lovely people who have put us immediately at ease with their beautiful stories. They hosted us in their amazing flat while they were on holiday. What can I say? They are amazing! We can’t wait to see them again and to have another experience with Doom&Keira.

I definitely would come back
Joyce and Luke were kind, friendly and they gave me a very good instructions about the house and the dog care. Also they keep in contact with you, so if you have any question or any problem, you can tell them and they will help you quicky. And about the dogs, what can I say, they are a very good dogs and well taught, they are affectionate and after leave Maastricht, I missed Keira and Joom ! And about the house, I can say it’s a lovely flat, with a confortable bed and a big sitting-room , besides it has two terrace and I especially loved the views of the big one . Definitely I had a very good experience and I would come back.

A piece of heaven
Joyce and Luke have a beautiful home with everything you need, they will keep in contact and make sure that everything is okay very generous and caring. During my stay i couldn't help to fall in love with the doggies Doom and Kira, they are very disciplined and fun beings, their training is gonna make very easy for you to take care of them during their routine. Beautiful experience overall plus Maastricht is a piece of heaven on earth, worth exploring.
