What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Most of all, love and attention for the kiddos. Feed dogs 1x day and keep automatic water full. Dogs can have a walk down the driveway or around the property once a day. If any are actively shedding it is helpful for the one living in the house to be proactive and brush shedding dogs occasionally and sweeping may be a daily thing if there is dirt tracked in. Most get kenneled at night and there will be written instructions. Most of the sit can be about you and your own creative project or work. I had a couple build out their bus while staying here with the dogs. OH I cant forget...the cows will come near the house and navigating the dogs when cows are near the house takes some attention and finesse.

What are the good features of the property and location

It is 75 acres in the country totally secluded yet 10 min from groceries and fuel. Peace and quiet. The night sky is amazing as well. Fishing in stock ponds can happen also but bring your own pole.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Must love dogs and like the silent country life. I am in the middle of a transition and furniture is limited and compassion is a must. This land shares with wildlife and rattle snakes are a part of this life. Currently it is too cold for them. Usually there is a lot of notice by the dogs if one comes around but this highlights the conversation about sitters need to know how to navigate a challenge. There are helpful neighbors and family close by and someone to call for all needs that require support.
