Our dog Juno is a sweet and quiet crossbreed, but being a rescue dog she has a strong prey drive and always needs to be walked on leash as she’s a flight risk if she picks up the scent of wildlife.

My wife and I are looking for a reliable individual or couple to stay in our mountain home and take care of our sweet rescue dog Juno while we are away on vacation in September.
Your primary responsibility is taking care of Juno, feeding and walking mostly. Also tend to minor housekeeping so our home is in the same condition when we return.
Our cozy timber frame home is set in a fabulous location at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort near Golden, British Columbia. Four national parks (Banff, Yoho, Glacier, and Kootenay) are within a one-hour drive and two others (Jasper and Mount Revelstoke) are just a bit farther away. With its warm sunny days and crisp clear nights, autumn is the most pleasant time to visit. The pesky bugs of summer have vanished. Vibrant golden aspens and larches adorn the mountainsides. You might awaken to see the summits dusted with the season’s first snow. There are plenty of hiking and mountain biking trails nearby. You can use our full-suspension e-bikes. Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is a small community with few full-time residents so quiet solitude is guaranteed.
Some people would consider our location remote, but the town of Golden is only 13km away. There's no public transportation available so a car is required to go anywhere else. We don’t want Juno left home alone for more than four or five hours at a time, but neighbors can check on her if you want to be gone longer. No smokers please.
No, sorry.
