Friendly cat in comfortable apartment in centre of sunny Valencia!

About this assignment

Single person or a couple, or small family who want to enjoy Valencia over the summer holidays. The eclipse passes and Valencia is in the line of totality, so it would be a great opportunity to see it for the sitters! Our cat is easy to look after. We have a work space and decent internet too so someone who works remotely would be happy here. Our dates stated include on day ahead to meet each other & explain things.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed the Misty the cat twice a day, make sure she has water available. Clean the litter tray regularly where she does her business. And water a few house plants & some on the terrace if it doesn't rain.

What are the good features of the property and location

Very central 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. 5 minutes walk from the beautiful old Centre of Valencia. Right next to the famous Rio Turia River park. Flat is fully renovated, with air conditioning and heating, office space, full open kitchen and living area & comfortable double beds. The flat itself is very quiet despite being central. It has a large sunny terrace with outdoor seating and a hammock to enjoy the sun. Use of bikes is also a possibility, Valencia is very flat with hundreds of cycle lanes.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

To spend most nights in the flat with the cat, but one or 2 nights she could be alone. We have been house sitters many times so we want to make this an enjoyable experience for everyone. Valencia is a wonderful city, lots to see and do, we'll give you recommendations of places to visit & things to see while you're in town. And numbers of our friends if you have any problems.

Valencia gets very hot in the summer, but this sit would be great for someone working or studying from home for example, or someone wanting to come & learn Spanish.
