About this assignment
We are looking for a someone, preferably a couple, who can come and stay in our comfortable home around half December/2025 till half February/2026 looking after our lovely girl cat Fluff and giving her two shot of insulin a day which is very very easy and quick.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feed Fluff and refill her WATER (important!) in the morning and give her one injection of insulin after she eats. You then have the whole day free for yourselves until about 7 pm when she eats again and get one more shot of insulin.
What are the good features of the property and location
A car is very important in this location as there is not much public transport ! The beach and town of Mojacar is a lovely and beautiful place to spend time in coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques etc.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
The area is beautiful so as I said, having a car will make all the difference as there are beautiful places to visit around this area. Beaches, Country towns, shops, history and all.
We have a swimming pool at our door step but it will be too cold at this time of the year.
The house is comfortable and and we have 2 large tv sets. We can provide everything for your comfortable stay.
Also we will leave the the vet’s telephone number for contact in case she shows any signs of discomfort. He will know the name of people staying here and could sometimes be in touch to check on her.

Lovely stay
We had a great stay looking after Fluff in Tony and Marcia’s house in Los Gallardos, near Almeria. Fluff is a lovely older, quiet cat who likes to be petted. We arrived 2 days in advance ;Tony and Marcia explained everything in and about the house; they are easy going people and very helpfull in pointing out the possibilities of the surrounding aera. We stayed in contact regularly during our stay. Nice house, with great sun terrace , and a compound swimmingpool (water a bit too cold during our stay) We had lovely sunny weather during our whole stay of two months , which was wonderful.

Great experience and very kind hosts
Marcia and Tony are super nice, generous and have a welcoming home - the communication was excellent before, during and after my stay at their house with Marcia. They have trusted me with their house, car, their cat of course, and prepared everything so I could feel comfortable. Marcia also gad many helpful Tips for me regarding the region. Their elderly cat Fluff is just lovely and I feel very grateful for the time with her. Even if she is diabetic, Fluff is a kind, smart and pretty cat. I can recommend Marcia and Tony as hosts 100% !

Very friendly owners and good location
Marcia and Tony are very friendly and welcoming, leaving good instructions for the care of their very particular cat, Fluff. The house was comfortable and we had all we needed. The Urbanization is lovely and very well located to be able to explore Mojacar and the surrounding stretch of coast which is absolutely stunning. We would happily return to sit for them again!
