Good animals - cat is carefree and dogs are joyous (fish usually go "bloop")
A dependable person with references, if possible. All genders welcome. You can have your own pet (or kid) - couples welcome. This short stay is ideal if you have people to visit in the area during the Holidays. If your dates do not match exactly, I am sure we can find a way.
Live in the house
Take care of my dog (feed, walk, keep secured) and cat (feed)
Feed the fish (not much else to do). I have a large enclosure attached to the house, which is convenient. Dogs need at least one walk per day, or they will let you know!
Keep the house as clean as it was upon arrival.
YOU MUST HAVE A CAR (unless you drive manual, in which case you may use my old Honda). Quiet, country setting, right between major towns Durham, Greensboro, Chapel Hill, Durham, Hillsborough and Raleigh - close to universities and hospitals. Mebane has nice amenities, bars, coffee shops, antique stores, a factory outlet, Walmart, all the fast foods, and some nice local restaurants.
An amount of money will be given to the sitter. I will provide all the food necessary for all the animals. Please ask as many questions as possible to avoid surprises. I speak English and Spanish, just in case.

Testimonials
A wonderful time in Mebane
Thank you so much, Regina, for inviting me to house sit twice at your lovely home in Mebane. The neighborhood lends itself to lovely walks, either on the roads or throughout the extensive wooded forests accessed directly from the driveway. I thoroughly enjoyed caring for Sheba, Sandy, and your most recent addition, Coco. Sheba took me on walks at least 3 times a day. And on our last evening walk, Sandy, the cat, would follow along behind and pounce on us in the dark on our way back! I also learned how to care and rear snails in the fish tank. This was a first! Also, be sure to ask about the farmer's market just three miles down the road. It's some of the best fresh produce you'll find. Thanks, Regina!
