Ecological house with 2 dogs and chickens, Serra São Mamede, Portugal, needs some loving and responsible care

About this assignment

We leave our nice house, dogs and chickens from 5th to 14th of may. We're looking for responsible and nature loving people, who wants to take care of the animals and make de place live during this period.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Give water and food to the chickens and dogs,
take care of the little house,
clean the house while leaving as it was while arriving,
give us some news...

What are the good features of the property and location

3ha beautiful piece of land in the marvelous region of Marvão, close by Castelo de Vide. People feel well on the land, the area with all those 'dropped' stones as something magic ! Nice walks from the place, essential stores at less than 7km, bikes available...
Accomodation is in a confortable little house with 2 bedrooms, solar pannels, electricity, source water on the and, hot shower in the house, washing machine, internet.
GET ATTENTION : the house has ONLY COMPOST TOILET AVAILABLE, we are offgridd for electricity, meaning to sometimes limit electricity consumsion in case of bad weather (light and charging devices is always possible, as well as hot shower (heated by gaz). Its only that sometimes you have to wait 2 days before using the washing machine.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The house is confortable, basicaly equiped.
We ask for really responsible people with nature and people around.
As the house is made of natural materials, its looking more rustic and need some more precautions.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
