Looking for a house and dog sitter in East Denver

About this assignment

We are hoping to find a reliable sitter that can cover a couple weekend trips and one long trip this summer. Our main concern is our dogs as one is older and requires medication twice a day and the other is just nutty. They both however are adorable and LOVE people. Unfortunately they’ve been a bit spoiled as my husband works from home and they aren’t often left alone for long periods. We are looking for someone that would be able to keep them company and not leave them in the house alone for more than 5 hours or so.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding and caring for dogs and possibly watering plants. Ensuring dogs get let outside for potty breaks. Giving thyroid medicine to Leo twice a day (very easy as he loves the pill pockets).

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in Mayfair which is a cute neighborhood in East Denver. Its very easy to get downtown from here and there are many restaurants and parks nearby.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our dogs are a bit needy. They will probably want to sleep on the bed with you and even though they are large they may occasionally want to sit near and possibly on you. Loving large dogs is a must. Jericho our rescue dog is very anxious and barks a lot as he sees himself as a guard dog. We also hope to find a house sitter that will pick up after the dogs in the backyard.
